The mare's milk can have a very important role in the immune system due to some major components. First, I must say that this milk leads Immunoglobulin G, Immunoglobulin A and immunoglobulin M. 

  1. IgG is the only one that has the capacity to cross biological membranes. At the moment a secondary immune response is produced , most of immunoglobulins belonging to this type.
  2. IgA can be secreted by the mucous membranes and exocrine glands , with the most important action in the mucosal surfaces and body fluids.
  3. IgM is responsible for developing an advocacy role in the intravascular space , this type is formed more quickly to a primary response. 

Apart from immunoglobulins described, we must also mention the whey proteins in the milk of mare.

Lactoferrin has antimicrobial activity. Thus, it provides protection against pathogenic bacteria colonizing mucosal surfaces. It is used as a natural antiseptic ( Drago , 2006). Presents acting antimicrobial activity against certain gram positive and gram negative bacteria , but also against some viruses and fungi ( Rodriguez - Franco et al. , 2005 ). It has a modulatory role in the immune response. Stimulates or inhibits various hormonal and cellular components involved in the prevention and/or resolution of infections and inflammation associated with these ( Drago - Serrano et al 2008 . ).

Lysozyme also has antiseptic activity . Acts on some bacteria and dissolved by removal of the polysaccharide component of their cell walls ( Garg , 2010 ) . It also has anti-inflammatory activities ( Shellhorn et al. 1995 ) .

The β -lactoglobulin has antimicrobial and antiviral properties. It is able to inhibit pathogens in the gastrointestinal system, to promote the immune response of the organism and regulate cell growth ( Schanbacher et al. 1997 ). The α -lactalbumin is a bactericide, an antimicrobial effect and is an apoptosis inducing agent.

From milk proteins , to be deferred , release bioactive peptides with many varied properties. Among the highlights that regulators of blood pressure , anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory ( Uniacke -Lowe et al. , 2010 , Nagpal et al. , 2011 ).

The proteins containing the essential amino acids described for the proper functioning of the body, but also the mare's milk contains free amino acids more readily absorbed. These concerning immunology, include the following:

Aspartic acid helps the immune system and causes an increased production of immunoglobulins and antibodies. Serine is useful for the proper maintenance of a healthy immune system and helps in the production of antibodies. Lysine has high antiviral properties and improves the immune function and antibody production . Histidine is necessary for the production of red blood cells and white blood . Improves the immune response.

Mare milk has a large amount of vitamins which stand in relation to the immune system which are shown below:

Vitamin A or retinol increases immune function. Vitamin B2 or riboflavin regulates the growth of red blood cells and helps maintain a strong immune system. Vitamin B5 or pantothenic acid is required for the formation of antibodies , to minimize the toxic effect of some antibiotics and help wounds heal.

Vitamin C or ascorbic acid helps fight viral and bacterial diseases. Vitamin E or tocopherol regulates platelet attachment and increase the immune response , for example by stimulating more erythrocytes acquire resistance.

So, is not the action of each component individually, but the sum of all those who provide us aid for various body against pathogens.

 Also mention that in the case of radiotherapy treatments should remember that mare's milk has natural antioxidants .
