It has been demonstrated that the continued use of mare milk can provide improvements in the symptoms of Atopic dermatitis. A clinical study has shown that the rate of disease severity decreases continuously taking mare's milk. (Foekel et al., 2009)
These benefits, although not far from the solution to the problem, are an improvement. The closely related study at skin level improvement with increasing population of bifidobacteria and lactic acid bacteria observed in the faeces of patients experiencing this improvement. Thus, the benefits in the treatment of this disease probably derived from the regulatory effect of the bacterial flora that is mare's milk.
